Busy few days at Team Falcon

Written by Team Falcon at 22:51 29/7-2013

Team Falcon face a testing few days with the team expected to take place in 3 races in just 2 days. The team will take part in the relatively flat ZGP and Amsterdam Race where Clarence Caraway will hope to extend his brilliant season which includes two victories and two third place finishes. The team will then go back to its climbing roots and take place in the Hamar - Hamar, where climbing captain Brendon Emmerson will hope to record his first win in 2 seasons. The next three days will also see the race debuts of Brit sprinter Bret Gahring and Spanish mountain veteran Daniel Ortiz. Both men where considered by many to be past there prime, but Team Falcon have hedged there bets and will see if they have any life left in their legs. Surprisingly Gerard Childers and Gavin O'Connor have been omitted for the race squads and wont take place in any of the three races.

Team Falcon boss Reece Smith had this to say: "Obviously the next few days are extremely hectic for us, three races in two days is no easy going but we'll do our best. Obviously our hopes rest with Caraway for the ZGP and Amsterdam Race as he is by far the most polished flat rider on our team. Emmerson will get his chance to shine again in the hills of Norway however and hopefully he can prove we were wise to bring him in a few seasons ago. Gavin O'Connor wont be taking part as he is away on commercial business for the team, and young talent Gerard Childer is away at a training camp improving his TT skills as we see him as an incredible talent for the future"
